MultiscaleAdaptiveStretch
MultiscaleAdaptiveStretch: This new tool for delinearization – or stretching – was introduced in December 2025. It is an alternative to HistogramTransformation, and is now a standard component of PixInsight. It does a nice job on both stars and non-stellar objects. In this video we compare MultiscaleAdaptiveStretch and HistogramTransformation on images of a galaxy and a nebula.
