Photons to Photos #10

From time to time, Warren or Ron will demonstrate a complete workflow from A to Z. The other instructor will monitor the chat box and answer questions in real time. This allows participants to see the entire post-processing workflow from beginning to end, watching how Ron and Warren use various processes, scripts, masks, and settings in context.

 

In this Photons to Photos session, we’ll watch over Warren’s shoulder while he processes a medium resolution, monochromatic version of the iconic Orion Nebula, M42. This beautiful, multicolored nebula is relatively easy to process because of its strong signal, but can present challenges due to its high dynamic range.

 
WHAT YOU’LL GET

Seasoned image processors will pick up new ideas and techniques to expand their tool kit and improve their results.

 

Beginners will get a glimpse at some advanced tools and techniques that have been covered in previous workshops. If you’re new to PI, we suggest viewing or attending the Newbie series first.
