Our final installment of the Newbie workshop series reveals the full power of including masks to add fine control to your processing workflow. While we've previously used simple masks to target image adjustments, we'll now dig deeper into their effectiveness at selecting, or protecting, specific regions or brightness ranges with PI's tool set. You'll learn how to make, adjust, and use masks using a variety of built-in and optional processes and scripts, inlcuding ChannelExtraction, StarXterminator, GAME, RangeSelection, the ColorMask script, and more.
